Revlon Nearly Naked Canadian Launch + First Impressions

Hey Beauties ; I hope this day brings you here with happiness :) , I am super excited to share with you a package I received from Revlon Canada. I was contacted by Kelsey at Revlon Canada about the new launch of their foundation and pressed powder "Nearly Naked." There had been many reviews and product talk about this foundation from US beauty guru's on YouTube, but it hadn't launched yet in Canada. Revlon Canada generously sent me 4 shades of the liquid foundation, 1 pressed powder, a Revlon lip butter in Peach Parfait and Revlon Photo Ready Primer+Shadow in Metropolitan.
Revlon's brand ambassador for Nearly Naked is Emma Stone, the gorgeous American Actress from the movies "Easy A" and "The House Bunny". Emma Stone attended the launch in New York on December 12/2012 wearing the products I was so generously given. I am super excited to be able to re-create the look using the products Revlon sent to me.
Revlon Nearly Naked foundation is said to be revolutionary for it's effortless ways of refreshing and blending into your skin. The foundation is formulated with weightless hallow silica pigments which balances both your skin and makeup so they are able to work together. I particularly love the blend of this foundation - green tea, black tea, oatmeal and jojoba these ingredients are a plus for maintaining the look and health of your skin. At first application this foundation reminded me of a BB cream. You all know I love my BB creams. Its weightless and smooth finish are what I like for daily makeup. The foundation offers light/medium coverage and covers what you need to cover. The foundation comes in 16 shades and the powder comes in 4 shades and retail anywhere from $12.95+ depending on where they are purchased.
I do have some dislikes about the foundation in particular, I do not like how the foundation comes out of the bottle! I would much prefer a pump or squeeze tub rather than an open hole in the bottle. I am also not a fan of the shade choices of the powder, for every shade of liquid foundation I feel it would be beneficial for the powder to have the same selection, rather than light, medium, medium deep and deep. Lastly I feel the shades are either to dark or to light for my skin tone. I am usually a light medium and I just felt like there was no in between, and in order to get a color that suited me I had to mix 2 shades together.
Overall, I think the foundation's texture ; how it applies to the skin, it's lasting time and concept are well I just don't feel the shades are easy to match with my skin tone. Would I re-purchase this product? I say yes, simply for the positive factors, I would just have to purchase 2 different shades , mix and than apply for my coverage.
Thank you so much, Revlon Canada - for allowing me to share with my readers the Revlon Nearly Naked foundation and pressed powder,
To my readers -- one question -- will you...
