Loreal Club Prive & Essie Turquoise &Caicos "Dupe"

Hey everyone , I hope you all have enjoyed your weekend! I have been so busy lately with everyday things that I have not posted in a while (or so it seems) This post is going to be a dupe of 2 nail polish's I have in my collection.
I thought it would be interesting to share the comparison between both a drug store brand polish and a "higher end" brand polish. This dupe is L'oreal Paris - Club Prive and Essie- Turquoise & Caicos
Both these polish's are absolutely gorgeous , I adore both brand's and both formulas! I say there dupe's because of the similarity in the colour, Although Essie has a more of a green undertone then the L'oreal polish, there super similar when applied on the nails.
Applied are 2 coats of each of the polish to show the comparison between the two. If your looking for a great minty/blue colour these are both good options. The Essie polish retails from $9.00-$10.00 where as the L'oreal polish retails from $5.00-$6.00
All in all my recommendation would be either or , I find them similar and would defenitly classify them as a "dupe" for one another.
What do you all think? A "dupe" (not saying these are identical) but a dupe! Let me know below!

  1. I've been trying to pick up the Essie Turquoise & Caicos all summer, everytime I think to see if its in stock, its gone. Glad to see L'oreal has a dupe for it, is it a new color because I've never seen it in stores either! Both are gorgeous!

  2. I already have the Essie polish, so it's good to know not to pick up the other. It seems the L'Oreal doesn't apply well?

    1. Actually Aleks , they apply both well , I have acrylic under my polish that I can't get off from when I had my nails done , so it doesn't look the greatest , I did not apply a base coat or even coat , I like both the Essie and L'oreal the same :)
