Demeter Fragrance Library Review + Giveaway

Hey Beauties ,
I hope you all enjoyed your week, TGIF - , with that being said I really wanted to kick off the weekend with a review and giveaway featuring Demeter Fragrance Library.
Many of you may already know Demeter (January Beauty Box 5) but if you don't or are not subscribed to Beauty Box 5 , let me share a bit of information , Demeter Fragrance Library contains over 250 scents of fragrances inspired by everyday life and experiences,
All of Demeter scents are inspired by the simplicity of life and what surrounds us daily. There really is a scent for everyone.
Demeter was kind enough to send me some products to review for you all. Out of the products I thought I would offer a new scent called "Oud" but more about that at the end of the post...

The scents I received are as follows ;

Hello Kitty : Such a fruity scent and so feminine , The scent is perfect for myself and I adore the smell. The scent is infused with different types of apples- green , yellow and red.. "Oh and what girl wouldn't love the adorable bottle

Cannabis Flower : The smell of this perfume is absolutely divine. It's floral with a slight hint of spice. I love the after smell of this perfume, not strong but it lingers just right.

Sex On The Beach : As described on Demeter website "an inviting and refreshing combination of Vodka, unsweetened Pineapple Juice, a touch of Raspberry liquor, a hint of Melon liquor and a splash of Cranberry" this scent basically sums up the description in 1 word -- PARADISE! I absolutely am loving this smell, probably my favorite!
Tootsie Roll : This smells identical to a tootsie roll and brings back memories of my childhood. I went through a phase where these were pretty much all I ate for candy. I don't know if this is something I'd wear to be honest, however I think it would work wonderfully as a room spray.
Now for the giveaway ! One lucky winner will be receiving "Oud" -- New to the Demeter Fragrance Library, this scent would be great if you like scents more woodsy and earthy. Here is the description from Demeter :
"Oud is highly valued by perfumers for its sweet, woody, aromatic and complex scent. It is a classical note in perfumery, most often used as a base note. At Demeter, we have isolated and refined Oud into a wearable, single note scent while maintaining its full, rounded and enveloping nature – all, without overwhelming, in the traditional Demeter style. Oud is also called Agarwood. It comes from the wood of the tropical Agar (Aquilaria) tree, believed to have originated in the Assam region of India, and spread from there throughout Southeast Asia. When the wood of this tree gets infected with a certain mold variety (Phialophora parasitica), it reacts by producing a precious, dark and fragrant resin from which is where the perfume ingredient is derived."

This giveaway will run for 1 week beginning 16.02.2013 terms and conditions are in the rafflecopter widget :) Good luck all!

  1. I've never smelled a Demeter scent before, but I think I'd like the Birthday Cake scent.

  2. Demeter is the only brand of scent I buy. I love their Orange Dreamsicle and Between the Sheets.

  3. I love Demeter! I can not wear or smell many perfumes or colonges because I get migranes, but Demeter has a whole lot that I can tolerate and love! One of my favorites is baby powder. Now only if they would make Snuggle Blue Sparkle into a scent....

  4. Gin & Tonic is my standby, but Dirt is pretty great too.

  5. I haven't tried any of them yet because there are no Superstores near me and I believe people who have ordered online have been hit with a big tax/duty bill. :( That being said, I really want to get the Hello Kitty! I am such a fan of HK and I can only imagine that the Demeter version would be so much fun!!!

  10. I never tried any of their fragrances (which makes this chance all the nicer). I'd love to try Oud so it's nice that this is the one! I like the Arabic type scents.
