I hope you've all had a fantastic week and your excited for the weekend. This post is going to be brief as I will be sharing my very first Ipsy Bag.
Off the bat, I was not entirely impressed with the contents of the bag but with any beauty subscription service it is always a hit and miss in terms of contents.

I was excited to finally get off the wait list and jump on the Ipsy band wagon and I am glad I did, the bag was super cute this month a purple with gold embossed "Ipsy Glamour Academy" covers the bag. The Ipsy bag I received was #14 ( you can find the version code on your envelope or via the tracking information Ipsy sends)

I liked the bag , it is small but spacious and is going to go great in my handbag. I was super excited about the Michael Todd skin care and the lash booster mascara by Pixi and the Noya lip balm is super soft on the lips so that's a plus. I didn't like the fact that I was sent a brow pencil in dark brown when the card clearly states my 5 products were personalized just for me via Ipsymatch if that was the case Ipsy would know my hair color is blonde and I would use an ash or light brown eye brow color. I am also not a fan of pigments. However with that said, the color is gorgeous and it may come in handy. I was also disappointed in the benefit perk inside. Benefit cosmetics and Ipsy teamed up and are offering 1000 lucky ipsters a chance to win an exclusive kit packed full of glam and benefit products. Overall I would rate my first bag a 4/10 - I will continue to receive the bag because like I said it will always be hit or miss with the contents.
